Philodendron 'Micans' is a beautiful trailing houseplant prized for its soft, velvety foliage and rich, ever-changing color. Philodendron 'Micans' Basic Care: Easy

Watering: Allow the soil to become fairly dry between waterings. Water thoroughly once the top 1–2 inches of soil has dried, and let excess water drain completely.

Light: Tolerates low to bright indirect light, making it an adaptable indoor plant. Medium to bright filtered light encourages fuller growth and helps bring out the beautiful bronze and burgundy tones in the foliage. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.

Soil/Drainage: Use a loose, well-draining tropical or aroid potting mix. Adding orchid bark and perlite improves drainage and airflow around the roots.

Temperature/Humidity: Prefers warm indoor temperatures and moderate humidity. Average household humidity is generally suitable, though additional humidity can encourage lush growth.

Feeding: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.

Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when the plant becomes rootbound. Always use a container with adequate drainage.
