Philodendron 'Lemon Lime' Basic Care: Easy

Watering: Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil feel dry. Water thoroughly and allow excess moisture to drain away. Avoid keeping the soil constantly wet.

Light: Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Bright filtered light helps maintain its vibrant chartreuse coloration, while lower light may make the foliage greener. Avoid harsh direct afternoon sunlight.

Soil/Drainage: Use a loose, well-draining tropical or aroid potting mix. Adding orchid bark and perlite helps improve drainage and airflow around the roots.

Temperature/Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 65–85°F and moderate humidity. It adapts well to average household humidity but appreciates slightly higher humidity for lush growth.

Feeding: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during fall and winter.
