Datura metel 'Ballerina White' unfolds its exotic, upright, upward facing, trumpet-like blooms of this datura can be 8 inches in length. They provide a double, bloom within a bloom, appearance with the swirling petals making this a very complicated trumpet indeed. As the sun sets, these blossoms send an intoxicating scent floating into the night air. All parts of this plant are poisonous. In the garden Ballerina will grow to a height of 3 feet, less if grown in containers. Makes a wonderful container plant.
