Fuchsia 'Ballerina Balance'
Fuchsia ‘Ballerina Balance’ features elegant, ballerina-shaped blooms in soft light pink and deep purple that flower continuously all season. A favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies, this variety adds graceful movement and color to shaded spaces.
Perfect as a colorful filler in shade containers, hanging baskets, and garden beds, Ballerina Balance is easy to care for and requires no deadheading. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, and wait to plant outdoors until night temperatures stay above 50°F for best performance.

Fuchsia Care Tips
- Light: Prefers bright indirect light or partial shade. Morning sun with afternoon shade is the sweet spot, especially in hot climates. Too much direct sun will scorch the foliage and stress the plant.
- Water: Keep soil consistently moist but never soggy. Fuchsia is thirsty, especially in containers, and may need daily watering during peak summer heat. Wilting is usually the first sign it needs a drink.
- Soil: Prefers rich, moist, well-draining soil. Use a quality potting mix for containers and amend garden beds with compost at planting.
- Fertilizer: Heavy feeders. Feed every 1–2 weeks with a high-phosphorus or bloom-boosting liquid fertilizer to keep flowers coming strong all season.
- Deadheading: Remove spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering. If you want the decorative berries that follow the flowers, skip deadheading on a few stems.
- Pinching: Pinch back young growth in early spring to encourage a fuller, bushier habit and more blooms. Leggy plants can be cut back by one-third to reinvigorate growth.
- Pests: Watch for aphids, whitefly, and spider mites, especially in hot, dry conditions. Check the undersides of leaves regularly and treat early.
- Hardiness: Most Fuchsias are grown as annuals in colder climates but are perennial in zones 8–11. Bring containers indoors before frost for overwintering.
Order & Shipping Info:
-Plants ship in a grower's pot, fully rooted.
-We ship every Monday and Tuesday (excluding holidays) to avoid weekend delays.
-Our photos show what you can expect, but each plant is unique and may look slightly different upon arrival.
-Minor damage during shipping is entirely normal and should be expected, especially in extreme summer or winter temperatures. Don’t worry—damaged foliage can be trimmed away and will not affect the plant's root system or overall health.
-Hold off on watering if the soil is still moist, and wait 2-4 weeks before repotting or fertilizing. This patience will help your plant adjust smoothly without going into shock.
