Tradescantia 'Brightness' Basic Care: Easy

Watering: Allow the top 1 inch of soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, but avoid letting the soil remain soggy or dry out completely.

Light: Thrives in bright to medium indirect light. Brighter light helps maintain the best leaf color and compact growth. Avoid prolonged direct afternoon sun.

Soil/Drainage: Use a quality, well-draining houseplant potting mix. A standard indoor potting soil works well.

Temperature/Humidity: Prefers temperatures between 60–80°F with average household humidity. It adapts well to normal indoor conditions but appreciates slightly higher humidity.

Feeding: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during winter.

Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when rootbound to refresh the soil and encourage vigorous growth.

General Tips: Pinch back long stems regularly to encourage a fuller, bushier plant.
