Hoya australis 'Lisa'

Lisa features broad, variegated leaves that are eager to climb up a trellis or cascade gracefully over the sides of its pot. It produces clusters of star-shaped, fragrant flowers that are creamy white with burgundy centers.  

Once a Hoya starts to put on flower buds do not disturb it, and after it has bloomed don't remove the spent flowers. Allow the dead flowers to fall off on their own.  This interesting plant doesn't like to be repotted unless it's absolutely necessary. 

Hoya Basic Care: Medium

• Light: This plant prefers bright, indirect light and needs at least some natural light so place it somewhere with windows nearby.
• Water:  Treat it like a succulent—allow the soil to dry out completely between watering.
• Soil/Drainage: This plant needs a well-draining soil mix.
• Temperature/Humidity: Normal household temperatures are acceptable. Higher humidity is preferred but not essential.
