Ficus elastica ‘Belize'

Ficus elastica ‘Belize’ is more than just a houseplant—it’s a bold design statement wrapped in glossy foliage. This stunning rubber plant brings tropical flair indoors with thick, ovate leaves splashed in shades of sunset pink, creamy white, and deep green. Similar in pattern to the popular ‘Tineke,’ ‘Belize’ turns up the drama with warm pink tones that look as if they’ve been kissed by Caribbean sun. Its upright growth and large leaves make it an eye-catching focal point in any room.

Ficus Basic Care: Easy to Medium

  • Water: Let the soil almost completely dry out between watering. These plants appreciate a consistent watering schedule, as they can be pretty dramatic when neglected.
  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light.
  • Soil/Drainage: Best in a loose, well-draining tropical mix.
  • Temperature/Humidity: Prefers warm conditions and should be kept away from drafty areas. While higher humidity is ideal, it can adapt to normal household humidity levels.

Order & Shipping Info:
-Plants ship in a grower's pot, fully rooted.
-We ship every Monday and Tuesday (excluding holidays) to avoid weekend delays.
-Our photos show what you can expect, but each plant is unique and may look slightly different upon arrival.
-Minor damage during shipping is entirely normal and should be expected, especially in extreme summer or winter temperatures. Don’t worry—damaged foliage can be trimmed away and will not affect the plant's root system or overall health.
-Hold off on watering if the soil is still moist, and wait 2-4 weeks before repotting or fertilizing. This patience will help your plant adjust smoothly without going into shock.
