Senecio stapeliiformis - Pickle Plant
The Pickle Plant has distinctive pencil-shaped stems with soft spines and purple-green patterns. The reclining to erect stems branch out from its rhizomes stem base.
The purple-green stems are jointed, cylindrical, and jointed. Each stem has four to six grooves, or angles with scale leaves sprouting all along the ribs.
- Light: Filtered Sunlight – This plant needs bright, filtered light with ample airflow so place in front of a window.
- Water: Not Thirsty – This plant can go several weeks without water so only water it when the soil completely dries out.
- Tip: This plant needs porous soil with adequate drainage.
