Silver Squill is a member of the lily family and forms small, somewhat teardrop-shaped bulbs that sit on top of the soil in thick clusters. The upper surfaces of this small lily's lance-shaped foliage are flecked with dark green against a ground of silvery gray-green and the undersurfaces of the leaves are violet. It blooms small, green and purple flowers that are borne in short, nodding racemes.
