• Seed Spacing: Sow your Big Max Pumpkin seeds roughly 8' apart in rows, keeping rows approximately 8' apart.

Instructions: Sow a few Big Max Pumpkin seeds over a hill 9"-12" tall and 1' across. Choose an area with full sun after any chance of frost has passed. Thin to 3 plants per hill when 1" tall. When vines are 3" high, thin to the strongest plant in each hill. Use a heavy organic mulch to control weeds.

Suggestions: For prize sized pumpkins, after each plant has set 3 or 4 pumpkins, save the largest and carefully prune others then and for the rest of the season.
