Cereus forbesii monstrose 'Ming Thing'

This lovably abnormal thing is quite a “thing” indeed...“Ming thing.” It exhibits naturally occurring mutant growth, in the form of sculptural club-like shapes. Woolly areoles and short black spines appear on top of these myriad bizarro stems, which kind of resemble rounded, clenched fists.

  • Light:  Filtered Sunlight – This plant needs bright, filtered light with ample airflow so place in front of a window.
  • Water:  Not Thirsty – This plant can go several weeks without water so only water it when the soil completely dries out.  
  • Tip: This plant needs porous soil with adequate drainage.
