Scarlet Nantes is a nearly coreless carrot variety. This popular carrot has tender, bright orange flesh with delicate flavor. Repeat sowings every 2 weeks until mid-summer for continuous supply of fresh carrots.

Instructions: Prepare the soil for planting seed tape. Make shallow rows 1/2" deep and 12" apart. Tear strips apart and unroll into rows. Water the seed tape thoroughly, then cover with soil and water thoroughly again. Seed tapes require consistent moisture to ensure best germination.
Suggestions: Too much water can cause carrots to crack. They should be kept weeded (a clean mulch can reduce this job). Also, lightly place soil over exposed roots to prevent cracking.
