Faucaria tigrina - Tiger Jaws

Faucaria tigrina

The thick fleshy leaves are kind of triangular in shape that grow in pairs and look similar to a jaw. The edges of the leaves produce spines that look like teeth. These teeth collect moisture for the inner part of the plant to take water down to the roots. 

• Light:  Filtered Sunlight – This plant needs bright, filtered light with ample airflow so place in front of a window.
• Water:  Not Thirsty – This plant can go several weeks without water so only water it when the soil completely dries out.  
• Tip: This plant needs porous soil with adequate drainage.
