- Light: Adapts to low, moderate, or bright light, but cannot tolerate direct sun. Bright light is needed to support fast growth.
- Water: Keep soil evenly moist but not wet or soggy in the spring and summer. Do not let dry out. In the winter allow the surface of the soil to dry out between waterings.
